Screening cultivars for BGR resistance by cut-panicle inoculation. (A) Cut-panicle inoculation. Inoculated panicles were placed in an Erlenmeyer flask, wrapped in a transparent plastic bag, and placed in a growth chamber (see Methods). Panicles were scored for disease 6 days after inoculation.
