TΔ is the value of the ELT; Tc is the value of the CSIT; PFP is the pollen fertility percentage; SSP is the self-seed setting percentage; ΣTΔ is the value of the cumulative ELT, calculated according to the formula ΣTΔ = (TΔ*t2 *7 d)/24 h (for t2, see Table 2); and Td is the DAT calculated according to Table 2 via the following formula Td = {6 h*25 °C + t1*26 °C + t2*(Tc-TΔ)}/24 h.
