Transcription profiles of chloroplast-encoded genes in rice obgc1-d1 mutants. Total RNAs (20 μg) extracted from leaves of 10-day-old obgc1-d1 mutant and wild-type Dongjin seedlings were subjected to northern blot analysis using the indicated gene-specific probes. A and B indicate the transcription profiles of PEP- and NEP-dependent chloroplast genes in the wild-type and obgc1-d1 mutant, respectively. The expression levels of 25S were used as the internal control. The mature transcripts of the corresponding genes were indicated with red arrows
