Expression of two PTI marker genes is induced within 2 h after Xoo inoculation. OSKS4 and Os04g10010 are rapidly induced after the infection of Xoo PX099A was used. Expression levels for each gene were normalized to the expression of the ubiquitin5 reference gene. Bars depict average expression level ± SD of three technical replicates. The ** indicate significant differences (P<0.05) as determined by a one-way ANOVA followed by post hoc Tukey HSD analysis. This experiment was repeated three times with similar results.
