Percentage of senescent area of rice cv. (A) Fatmawati and (B) IR64 in high salt stress. The salt levels were 0 mM, 100 mM, 150 mM and 200 mM NaCl, imposed two weeks after transplantation. Senescent area was determined through colour classification from the top view fluorescent images. The results are presented as the percentage of senescent pixels area to the total shoot area of the top view image.
