The seedling, full heading and maturation stages of rice were grown to 14d, 60d, and 90d after sowing, respectively. The penultimate leaves were selected at seedling stage, and sword leaves are selected for the determination of allantoin (a) and allantoate (b) content at full heading and maturation stages.
