The three anatomical/developmental grouped genes were further classified into seven sets in rice response to Xoo infection. Plants were inoculated with Xoo strain PXO61 (Mudanjiang 8 and RB49) or PXO99 (IR24 and IRBB13) at the booting stage. ck, without Xoo inoculation. The expression of each gene is presented as percentage of actin gene. Expression levels (log2 transformations of average signal values) are color-coded: red and green denote high and low expression, respectively. (a) Leaf-preferred group.
