Flag leaf width was measured at the widest part of the flag leaf, it exhibits a wide range of variation both within and between subpopulations, except for the aromatic (Group V) group where the range of phenotypes is much smaller, due in to small sample size (14 accessions). Subpopulation group was assigned based on 44,100 SNP markers using principal component analysis (PCA) method (see Table 1).
