Leaf samples for rice-Mo interaction were collected Nipponbare (susceptible) and Nipponbare-Pi9 (resistant) inoculated with Mo. Leaf samples for rice-Xoo interaction were collected from Nipponbare (susceptible) and Nipponbare-Xa21 (resistant) inoculated with Xoo.
